Review: Sinangag Express
Sinangag Express is the best place to be if you are looking for affordable yet tasty quick meals. They have a wide range of choices that will certainly satisfy any of your cravings. The best thing about Sinangag Express is that their branches are open24 hours a day, 7 days a week so everyone can have their favorite dishes anytime of the day. Resty Esponilla, the proprietor of Sinangag Express stated that they started out with just 8 dishes and has slowly upgraded and added new dishes to their menu. He wanted to reinvent the “fast food” scene by providing delicious and affordable meals that are freshly prepared.
There are many Sinangag Express locations strategically spread throughout the city. They have branches in:
Labangon,
Panagdait,
Guadalupe, and
Lahug.
One Saturday midnight, my friends and I went to their Lahug branch which is just near our place. This branch is near JY Square Mall and is just in the corner near the Metrobank Lahug branch. It is not that hard to find since their signage is clearly displayed and you will not miss the blue and yellow colors of their interior.
If you are from the Lahug area then you would not need any directions going to this place. But if you are coming from either the uptown or downtown area, just hop on to any jeepney that passes by JY which can either be 04B,04C,04D,04H,17B,17C or 17D.
If you are coming from the SM or Ayala area, just hop on to a jeepney which is bound for JY which is either 04L or 04M respectively.
Sinangag Express has been awarded as the Most Outstanding Tapsilog in Cebu and they have certainly lived up to their award. They serve plenty of Silog dishes and they even provide free hot soup. Apart from their signature Silog dishes, they also have side dishes such as Sizzling Kangkong and siomai. They have recently offered Perfect Lunch treats that are easy on the budget. If you want quick and delicious hot meals then Sinangag Express is definitely the best place to be. One thing that is also very commendable with Sinangag Express is that their place is always clean and their staffs are always pleasant and accommodating even during the wee hours of the morning.
I guess the only thing missing to make Sinangag Express even better is that they offer desserts as well. But in totality, I would give Sinangag Express 4 out of 5 stars because I believe that given their potential to create more dishes, they can provide the best of the best quick and hot dishes that everyone will enjoy. So if you are craving for a satisfying hot meal anytime of the day, whether you want something traditional like Tapsilog or something more meaty like Sisigsilog, head on down to the nearest Sinangag Express.
